Mina Zayed district’s new fish market with 104 stalls

The Mina Zayed district of Abu Dhabi is home to a new market offering a unique shopping experience.In addition to eight restaurants and 44 fish cleaning stations, the fish market offers commercial spaces and services.

As well as the supermarket, there are 104 fresh fish stands, eight dry fish stands, four fruit and vegetable stands, and three commercial kiosks.

In a joint announcement with Modon Properties, the developer responsible for the makeover, the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) opened the market on Monday.  

Developed in accordance with the best international standards, this project provides shop owners with the best services and facilities. Embracing the legacy of Abu Dhabi’s fishing trade, the new market incorporates themes associated with the legacy of the fish market’s over 40-year history.
