The Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has lifted a ban on travellers from 10 countries, including India, the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia, a spokesperson said on Saturday.
In a statement, Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said the ban, first implemented in April, and then extended to more countries in July, is being lifted.
Roque said that travelers from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia must stay in quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
