UK Visa From UAE – According to Mansoor Abulhoul, UAE’s ambassador to the UK, UAE citizens will no longer need a visa before visiting the UK from next year. As part of the UK’s Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) scheme, which is slated for implementation in 2023, the Emirates will be one of the first countries to take advantage of this facility.
In a video message on Twitter, Abulhoul said, “There has been a very exciting announcement by the UK government recently, specifically about the Electronic Travel Authorization system, which will be put into place early next year. Emiratis will have access to the system making travel to the United Kingdom much easier,” he said. “It is a place where much time and money are spent, a place that is so dear to us.

I would like to express my thanks to the UK government and the UAE Embassy in London for their tireless effort on this project,” he said, adding that it will bring many more opportunities to the bilateral relationship. My top priority has been to reduce travel restrictions for Emiratis. As a result of our efforts, Emirati visitors are now able to travel more freely to the UK,” Abulhoul said in a tweet on Monday.

According to reports, the ETA scheme also involves other countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). In the Henley Passport Index published earlier this year, the UAE passport ranked as the 15th strongest in the world and the first among Arab nations.
