Monday, it was announced that the validity of the Green Pass on AlHosn has been shortened from 30 days to 14. A resident who receives a negative Covid-19 PCR test result after being fully vaccinated will be entitled to a 14-day Green Pass.
The new rule will be in effect starting on Wednesday, June 15, a government spokesperson said at a media briefing. Beginning on Monday, June 20, students and employees in the education sector will have to comply with the updated validity rule. In Abu Dhabi, the Green Pass is required for entry to most public places and attractions.
This came during a week when the UAE’s daily Covid cases doubled.
