Special flights in October from Dubai to Manila will be operated by Emirates

October 2, 5, 9, 16, 23, and 30 will be the dates for the flights.

A special commercial flight will be operated from Dubai to Manila in October, Emirates announced on Sunday. Filipino citizens who meet the eligibility requirements can fly home on October 2, 5, 9, 16, 23, and 30, reducing waiting times.

The Philippine authorities have mandated that Emirates resume services to Manila, Clark, and Cebu to all eligible travellers. Those interested in booking ‘Bayanihan’ flights should contact +9714 274 9199, who can answer any questions. The special flights will be available to Filipinos only in the UAE, but the requirements are as follows:

In the first 10 days of the quarantine, all passengers will be confined to the airport with the date of arrival as their start date. The quarantine at home will then last for four days.

Dubai Tourism Department (DTD) along with Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) will coordinate quarantine facilities at designated hotels.

The Philippines lifted a ban on travelers from the UAE in September, which allowed the airline to resume daily service between Manila and Clark and twice weekly flights between Cebu and Clark. Foreign nationals and Filipinos alike can book flights between the two cities.
