Seats from all sections of the Platinumlist website are no longer available, including those from General, General East, Premium, Pavilion East, and Platinum
Hours after going on sale on Sunday, India vs Pakistan tickets sold out.
The Platinumlist website, where tickets for the T20 World Cup are being sold, has stopped selling seats in all sections except for General, General East, Premium, Pavilion East, and Platinum. Fans flocked to the International Cricket Council website in droves when the international cricket body announced that tickets were on sale. A queue of tens of thousands of people was waiting in front of many of them online. They were told they would have to wait more than an hour.
There were two prices available for groups of two: Dh1,500 ($150) for Premium tickets and Dh2,600 ($2,600) for Platinum tickets on Sunday night. However, they are no longer available on Platinumlist as of Monday morning.
Taking place from October 17 to November 14, the T20 World starts in Muscat and will culminate in Dubai. In the highly anticipated India-Pakistan match, the Dubai International Stadium will host the match on October 24.
At the forthcoming men’s T20 World Cup, nearly 70 percent of the seated capacity will be utilized at all UAE venues, the International Cricket Council announced on Sunday. In addition to inter-league matchups, the schedule boasts several rivalry games. The first match of the tournament takes place in Muscat between Oman and Papua New Guinea.
