On the Federal Authority of Identity and Citizenship’s (ICA) app, residents who are eligible for the UAE’s long-term Golden Visa, or who feel their friends or relatives are, can apply.
Entrepreneurs, investors, specialized scholars, researchers, and students with promising scientific talents can apply for the 10-year visa.
To qualify for it, they must meet certain criteria.
The following is a step-by-step guide to using the ICA app’s nomination service:
> Get the ICA UAE Smart app
> Choose ‘Public Services’
> Choose ‘Nomination Application for Golden Service’
> Fill in the data
> Obtain the necessary documents and attach them
> Pay your fee.
When the service fee is automatically canceled
The service will cost Dh50 per applicant. Applications that are rejected due to inadequate information or documents are cancelled automatically after 30 days.
A confirmation will be sent to the applicant after submitting the required documents by SMS and email from the relevant authorities, which will confirm receipt of the application.
Long-Term Residency program for all doctors
According to the ICA, the UAE will grant Golden Visas to all resident doctors. Through the website smartservices.ica.gov.ae, doctors licensed by the UAE health regulatory bodies can apply for the Golden Visa between July 2021 and September 2022. Medical doctors licensed in Dubai may apply via smart.gdrfad.gov.ae. Before visas are issued to those who qualify, the government departments concerned will receive and review the applications.
