UAE JOBS: Training for Emirates Jobs and Skills (Tejas) will provide jobs for at least 10,000 highly skilled workers by next year, according to the Indian Consulate. Consulate partners with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to establish a pathway that will protect its citizens from unscrupulous recruiters.
The NSDC sends representatives to the UAE to assess demand for jobs and provide workers with the necessary training. During Expo 2020 in March, the program was launched.
UAE JOBS: As per the nature of the jobs, Tejas’ training programs are conducted partly in India and partly in Dubai. As for driving, Tadu Mamu, Consul (Press, Information, Culture & Labour) at the Consulate General said, “Training systems are developed to replicate the UAE driving model and left-handed cars.” They can get their licenses much more easily here once they have been trained there.
