A new feature of the popular messaging app WhatsApp allows users to transfer their chat history between platforms. According to a tweet, the app owned by Facebook said subscribers can move their chat history from iOS to Samsung phones from Friday. Thus, when subscribers change phones, they will not lose chats, photos, and other media they shared on their old phones.
The feature will soon be available across all devices, according to the tweet. This will allow users to switch phones without losing their WhatsApp data, even if the operating systems are different.
