In Sharjah, a new park features 4,000 flowers

A 7,400-square-metre park has been opened in Sharjah by Sharjah City Municipal Council and Municipality

Wednesday saw the opening of Muwaileh Park, a park covering an area of 7,400 square metres, in Sharjah.

Accordingly, the opening of this new park coincides with the rapid growth in population and urbanization of Muwaileh commercial district, as well as His Highness Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, directives to expand green areas and facilities in Sharjah city.

An area of about 3,300 square meters is cultivated in the park. A total of more than 2,200 seedlings are cultivated and more than 4,000 flowers are displayed in this garden. This garden features a children’s play area with rubber flooring. In addition, there is a rubber track for walking and running, a multipurpose playground, and a fountain.
