Friday would be a half-day for residents, while Saturday and Sunday would be the start of the new UAE weekend.
Dubai Municipality announces new working hours for Dubai parks and recreation areas following the workweek system. Residents will also need to be aware of new park hours as they prepare for the new weekend and work schedule.
Al-Safa Park, Zabeel Park, and Al Mamzar Park, all major parks in the Emirate, will operate from 8am to 10pm from Monday to Thursday.
The parks are open from 8am to 11pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, as well as all official holidays.

Residents can access residential parks and squares from 8am to 11pm from Monday to Friday, and 8am to 11:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. They are open until midnight on official holidays.
Dubai Frame, Dubai Safari Park, and Quranic Park all operate the same hours.
As of January 8, the Farmers’ Souq at Al Nakheel Park will be open on Saturdays instead of Fridays.
Al Barsha Park 2 will host Ladies’ Day on Thursday rather than Sunday.
