Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro is getting a new look: Report

Apple might launch a smartphone with a punch hole display soon. Apple launched its iPhone 13 series barely a few months ago, and now details regarding the iPhone 14 lineup have emerged.

A hole-punch screen design would replace the notch on the iPhone 14 Pro series, according to The Elec.

There will be 48MP punch-hole selfie cameras on next year’s Pro models, says the outlet. It is believed that the 6″ and 6.7″ iPhone 14 Pro will use OLED panels from LG Display. The only models that will have the new look are the 6.06″ and 6.7″ iPhone 14 Pro.

BOE will supply the displays for the non-Pro iPhone 14, which will have a notch and be available in 6.06-inch and 6.7-inch sizes. LTPO screens and 120Hz refresh rates will not be available on entry-level models.

LTPO panels will begin to be supplied by BOE for the iPhone 15 series by 2023, according to the article. Additionally, Apple is expected to release a new iPhone SE model in 2022 that will feature a similar design to the current iPhone SE model but will offer 5G capability.
