Almost half of Pakistan’s 221 million citizens identify as cricket fans, and the Pakistan Cricket Board has registered 42,000 players.
Under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s initiative, Pakistan’s youth are eligible for scholarships, skill-development opportunities, as well as sports scholarships under an ambitious $639 million initiative.
