Pakistan Pavilion opens new restaurant at Expo 2020 Dubai

A fine-dining experience inspired by the hospitality of the country. At the Pakistan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, a new fine-dining restaurant has opened.

Dawat, the restaurant, will feature a variety of dishes inspired by Pakistan’s history along with diverse flavours from the country. Erth, a hospitality, cuisine, and recreation firm based in Abu Dhabi, has created the restaurant on the pavilion’s rooftop.

On the ground floor, Erth and Pakistan Pavilion have a partnership for a restaurant called Dhaba.

At the Pakistan Pavilion, we are delighted to partner with Erth and present two wonderful culinary experiences. Pakistan’s hospitality has inspired the dishes to offer a unique experience to epicureans,” said Rizwan Tariq, director-general of the pavilion.

It is our pleasure to collaborate with the Pakistan Pavilion and launch two incredible culinary journeys at Expo 2020 Dubai, said Shaikha Al Kaabi, CEO of Erth. “Interaction over food and drink is an intrinsic part of both the Emirati and Pakistani cultures.”

It is my conviction that every guest at Dhaaba and Dawat will enjoy the cuisine and have a memorable experience because Pakistan and the UAE have always enjoyed a strong relationship, she added.

There will be 50 seats in the restaurant. This restaurant is also designed to showcase some of the hidden treasures behind the stunning façade of the Pakistan Pavilion.
