A journey full of surprises awaits during the Jubilee weekend
UAE visitors can look forward to a stellar line-up of events as the nation celebrates 50 years since its birth, promising them ’emotional days’ full of surprises.
A variety of performances will be showcased during National Day weekend to honor the insights and values of the country’s leadership and the Emirati people.
Around 150 performers and fireworks will entertain audiences across four days from 1 December 2021, honoring the country and its people, from its visionary leaders to the people, who are the nation’s soul.
“We have a festive weekend, the Golden Jubilee weekend, which starts at 9am and goes all the way to 2am,” says Amna Abulhoul, Executive Creative Director of Expo 2020. We want to make sure that everyone will be celebrating ’emotional’ days from the moment the gates open to the moment they shut.”
Moreover, Abulhoul points out that fusion performances from different world artists will pay tribute to UAE people and to those who shaped the UAE’s history.
According to her, “By the end of the day, there will be another surprise, and by the end of the hour, there will be another surprise.”. An entire country is celebrating their big day with the world for the first time. Fusion performances are so exciting to witness and how well they integrate with us as a whole. In addition to celebrating the UAE’s golden jubilee, the whole world is turning 50.”
