60,000 years of Australian history unravel on the dome screen as the rays of an Australian sunrise flicker across the screen. Blue Sky Dreaming, the work’s theme, presents an awe-inspiring tale of Australian ingenuity and innovation. The pavilion’s roof features a cloud-like canopy that represents the multiculturalism of Australia and the 300 different ancestries represented by it. The canopy is made up of powder-coated aluminum blades of varying lengths.
